About

Hi, I’m Lindsey! One of my greatest sources of joy is helping people achieve their goals and dreams, especially when it comes to dance. Nothing lights me up more than watching someone’s endeavor go from idea to reality. I love celebrating accomplishments, challenges, milestones made and met, and all the nitty-gritty that goes into building your vision.

I also know how incredibly daunting it can be to try and do that all by yourself. It can easily get lonely (“no one else seems to understand!”), discouraging (“I’ve been told that my idea won’t work”), and stressful (“I’ll never be able to get this done with so much else going on”).

That’s where I come in. As your dedicated Dance Consultant, I’m here to journey with you as you level up, set goals, and make dreams come true. I’m here to be your cheerleader, your advocate, your kick-in-the-seat-of-your-pants,  your accountability partner, and your mentor.

Why should you listen to me, you might ask? I’m so glad you did!

I know how to help you achieve dance goals and dreams because I’m grateful to have achieved a lot of my own. Here are just a few:

  • Professional dancer & guest artist for over a decade with multiple companies (and still performing!)
  • Founder and Artistic Director of an award-winning, nonprofit professional dance company for six years
  • Dance studio founder and owner for five years
  • Founder/producer of a major annual collaborative city-wide dance event that is still going strong
  • Pitched the idea, wrote the curriculum, and developed the first-ever dance program for a community college’s Continuing Education program
  • Dance instructor & master teacher for all ages and levels from recreational through professional organizations in ballet, pointe, modern, tap, jazz, pas de deux, and ballroom
  • Online dance & fitness course creator with over 7,800 students on Udemy
  • Professional choreographer who is regularly commissioned to set original works on professional and pre-professional dance companies
  • Successful additional career as a marketing and business development leader across multiple industries
  • Published author
  • Public speaker
  • Hold two master’s degrees
I don’t share this to boast; I share this to let you know that achieving your dreams and goals IS possible–even the loftiest ones! Ready to begin?

P.S. If you really are interested in my full bio, here you go:

Lindsey Dinneen is originally from Northern Virginia, where she began her formal training at the Ravel Dance Studio. At the age of 13, she was invited to join the studio’s pre-professional Company, and performed multiple featured roles in Cinderella, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Giselle, The Nutcracker, and as Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty. She then attended Mercyhurst College on scholarship, where she attended a summer intensive in New York City with American Ballet Theater before graduating magna cum laude with a B.A. in Dance. During her time at college, Lindsey was presented with the National Dance Association 2010 Student Literary Award & its 2011 Plaudit Award for contribution to the dance field. Lindsey danced as a senior company member and soloist with Störling Dance Theater for four years and was a principal ballerina with Dramatic Truth Ballet Theatre for one season, starring in The Mystery of Christmas. She has been a guest artist with Not Your Average Dance Project, City Ballet Theater, Anazao Dance, Communitas, and for independent choreography projects, including for a video with Willow Tree artist Susan Lordi.
